Converse College
Converse College is the small private school in South Carolina responsible for me finding my confidence and the fire to follow my dreams. Through multiple leadership positions and coursework involved in obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and my minors in Studio Art and Arts Management, I have gained a unique set of skills that have shaped who I am.

Who I Am,Where I've Been, and Where I'm Going:
Breanna is an art history undergrad with minors in arts management and studio art. She has held several positions of leadership on her college campus which have given her confidence in public speaking. To date, Breanna has held two internships in different interest areas that both added to her interest in community centered work and is currently interning with the Hampton III Gallery in Taylors, SC where she working with art collections from southern artists. She has been fortunate enough to visit some of the world’s best art museums, such as the Louvre, MOMA, the Whitney, Seattle Art Museum, The National Gallery of London, and The Centre Pompidou. Breanna has just completed a 25-page thesis about the Austrian artist Egon Schiele and hopes to continue to write challenging work about artists both past and present.

Following graduation, Breanna plans on pursuing a PhD in art history, likely focusing on 19th to 20th century art. She hopes to work side by side with some of the greatest works in art history, continuing to write challenging views about artists both past and present, and work to make the world a better place one life at a time.

Work Experience
I am currently working with this gallery which represents many artists, most with southern roots. My work here includes keeping up with the archives, creating marketing materials, and writing pieces about the artists being shown.

As an intern at this arts non-profit organization, I assisted in the planning of events, researched events which could help us reach new audiences, and assisted in an art installation project.
As Director of the Converse College Student Ambassadors, I am responsible for the application and interview process for selecting new Student Ambassadors who act as representatives of the college. I am also responsible for leading training sessions, creating a newsletter each semester, and assisting my group of coordinators.

As an intern for the Chamber of Commerce, I was responsible for researching aspects of the local community and creating materials which could be used when creating new programs. My biggest projects including researching work force training and researching diversity inclusion among local businesses.
